Universal Class:
Vermont Public Libraries provide access to high quality online courses for all library users. Begin exploring these courses by registering with your library barcode number (begins with 2VTKY and is on the back of your library card) on the State of Vermont Universal Class Registration page. Universal Class users register online, participate in the classes online at their own pace, correspond with instructors online and have up to six months to complete an individual class. Connect to newspapers, magazines, full text scholarly articles, homework help, databases and more. The Vermont Online Library (VOL) offers a wide array of electronic information databases on a variety of topics geared to a variety of age levels, for both generalists and specialists. The information is produced by known and trusted publishers and licensed by the State of Vermont from the Gale Cengage Learning. These resources are available to you 24-hours-a-day from not only your participating local library, but your home, your office – or anywhere Internet access is available.
